Atlantic Technology say that the goal of home theatre isn´t to put you in the movie theatre, it´s to put you in the movie! - Very much their raison d'etre - founder and president Peter Tribeman, is an enthusiast who has been involved in high performance surround sound since the early days - Peter headed up the team that worked on the decoders for the Empire Strikes Back, way back in the 80's, and that sound track won Oscars!

Many speaker manufacturers and electronics producers have gravitated towards Home Cinema products and multi-channel music products over the years. Atlantic Technology grabbed our attention as they have only ever been a multi-channel company - In fact Peter is something of an industry expert having led a consortium including Dolby Labs and Lucasfilm to assemble and publicly demonstrate the first Home Cinema system using the Dolby Surround Matrix.
