Triad Speakers
Triad is the sole company designing and manufacturing a comprehensive line of high-end architectural loudspeakers. We don't look at our products as commodities, but rather as individual Unique Solutions to the problem of seamlessly integrating high-quality sound into a sophisticated living environment.
HOME CINEMA FRONT LCR SPEAKERS
Triad's LCRs are, as the name suggests, designed for use primarily in home theater systems with additional surrounds and subwoofers. The LCRs all play loudly with lots of headroom and minimal power compression, with sensitivity of 90 dB 1w @ 1m to 94.5 dB 1w @ 1m. Limited vertical dispersion makes them work well in multichannel systems. Their accuracy also makes them great for music applications, but they especially excel at reproducing demanding movie soundtracks. There are models for freestanding placement, ceiling installation, onwall mounting, and inwall applications, for the same high performance regardless of installation option. Handsome Pedestals are available for all InRoom LCRs.
HOME CINEMA SURROUND SPEAKERS
All of Triad's InWall and OnWall Surrounds are high-quality dipoles, designed for an enveloping surround sound experience. Many of Triad's front speakers may also be used in surround applications where the room is larger and/or more acoustically live, or where a more directional surround field is desired. There are currently six Triad Surround models; three OnWall and three InWall. The photo shows InWall and OnWall versions of the Silver Surround.
MULTIROOM SPEAKERS
Triad's Omni series consists of smaller, moderately-priced full range speakers for use throughout a home in distributed audio applications. Products include InWall, InRoom, and round, rectangular, and square flush-mount InCeiling speakers. This category is well suited for full-range two-channel listening, or smaller home theater applications where there is a budget consideration. The OmniRound series allows for Triad to be used throughout a home for distributed audio at a more modest price. The new coNEXTion line of custom speakers provides much more flexibility and many more ceiling speaker options.
